looking at the defenders we have now surey CL needs to look at bringing in a couple of experianced defenders. i dont think that you can expect to have success without a defender who has done it all before. i know we have dabizas, but lets face it, hes not exactly consistant in any way is he?

dublin may have signed a new contract but surely if this is his last season before he retires, he wwill want to be up front and not stuck in defence.

anyone agree and any suggestions on who would fit the bill.

We don't have Dabizas anymore

I think Dublin is good enough to play in defence and he has plenty of experience which he can pass onto McCarthy etc. I don't want us to sign an older defender just for the sake of experience.

Dublin wont last 40 odd games so we definetly need to bring in cover in his 2 positions.

experianced defenders. we already have maybury is 26 and played 100's of games. macarthy has played loads and youth and international scene and stewart has played loads. just because there not old doesn't mean there not experianced. i think our defence will be great next season. full of pace for a change
