LanguedocFox Posted 11 February 2011 Posted 11 February 2011 I live in southern France (the name's a clue!) and I'd like to be able to watch City's live matches when they are available. Sky's fine for UK transmissions, but I know that quite a lot of matches go out in other countries - there's been posts on the forum about live matches onThai TV, and I think there are broadcasts in Scandinavia as well. I've been looking at different computer programs, and came across this - http://www.satellitedirect.com/sports/index.html?hop=soccertv&xsite=sp. It sounds too good to be true, and in my experience if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I've done a Google search for reviews, but the interweb is full of what are clearly spurious reports, all written in the same tone of voice. There are, for example, about 15 videos on YouTube alone, all lauding the quality of the program, its ease of use, value-for-money and so on. I am not a cynical person, and I would not suggest for one moment that it's the software suppliers who are posting these positive reviews. No, of course not. Definitely not. So I thought I would ask on here to see if anyone has shelled out $50 (31 quid at today's exchange rate) on this stuff? And if so, is it any good, or would I be better spending the money on red wine? If you want to watch footy over the internet read through this site which has the same software for nowt http://www.fsicrew.info/forums/index.php Alternately this site shows you matches on TV across Europe. Your might find there's a local channel showing it free http://liveonsat.com/index.html Lastly with the money buy yourself a satellite system and watch free to air feeds.
