Steven Posted 2 June 2005 Posted 2 June 2005 Whats the score, anybody? 118678[/snapback] 2-0 to England.
natas Posted 3 June 2005 Posted 3 June 2005 Could anyone tell me if Jamie Young is any good? I'm just wondering cause he chose to play for England over Australia, so i'm curious as to whether we missed out on a good youngster.
Deathside Posted 3 June 2005 Posted 3 June 2005 I presume England are playing these games because they failed to qualify for the World Youth Championship?

I think the two that I would look at again from last night would be Wright-Phillips and Rosenior.

Didnt qualify? frig me!! thats surprising even though i dont know what other teams are like but to me it seems like we have a great squad.. the majority of which have played in the Premiership.
Hazza Posted 5 June 2005 Posted 5 June 2005 It's just a tournament held every few years, we're not in it as a result of not qualifying for something i don't think, the record under Tw@tlor is pretty good i think. Anyway, Portugal are there and their youth sides are always class, so shouldn't have missed out on qualfiying for the world youth championships. Speaking of Portugal, they beat the lads 1-0 yesterday. Quite a poor performance so we have to draw against Korea tomorrow to get to the semi's, though they should be comfortably beaten.
C-man Posted 7 June 2005 Posted 7 June 2005 England beat South Korea 3-0 in this tournament last night
