Right I know there is about 100 topics regarding Sven and maybe most repeats of the last however I still cannot believe people want him out! I think the job Sven has done has been brilliant!

Just think back to Portsmouth...If I came on here after that game and said that in April Sven, will be our manager and with four games to go we will have a chance of grabbing a play off place I would have got torn to shreds and told to jog on!

Sven is a world class manager but he has never managed in a league like this! Every season it gets more competitive and more physical, and as Sven has managed teams who play attractive passing football he has stuck by his policy and to a degree it has worked. I think he has been under immense pressure to produce straight away, without knowing what this league is really about! He has tried bringing in big names and players with proven track records along with promising young stars to try and achieve this. But as we have found the big name players come with attitudes and the young with inexperience. Sven had to gamble in order to gain any chance of gaining a play off place, and it very nearly worked. Yes it is incredibly annoying to be 2 points behind a play off place and not kick on but I put that down to the back four constantly rotating and lack of experience in our younger players. Sven tried to plug it up with players like Davies who is a proven player at this level! However after a few game's he gave the impression (to me anyway) that he couldn't be arsed! And I get the same impression with Bruma when he makes a mistake he doesn't seem to be bothered, as a few have suggested I think Chelsea have said" if we want Bruma we have to play him". There are area's I think Sven needs to improve in in order to be successful at this level! But with this season come's experience and I have faith in him! The game yesterday was horrible and more or less summed up our season nearly, but not quite! With a Pre-season Sven will have an opportunity to take time over his decisions and ultimately make the right ones (we hope), I am certainly not going to judge until he has had a pre-season. We have many questions and hopefully we will have answers next season! As for now lets see out this season and prepare for the next!

I wholeheartedly agree with that.

It is beyond belief that some on here are calling for his head. He is an exceptional manager. It’s incredibly blinkered - without Sven we wouldn't have had any hope of the playoffs whatsoever. Yes, when we were on form you would think we'd have enough momentum to get in to the mix. But we didn't.

Do people not realise that stability is golden in football. In my opinion our chances of promotion next season are greater with Sven at the helm, than they would be without him.

Headlines like this in the Merc also really worry me - 'Sven vows to stay at Leicester City next season'. I hope those calling for his head don't become more vocal, because I can see a situation whereby Sven throws the towel in. This season was lost in the first 10 games. Instead of looking for a fall guy and or blaming individuals, ask yourself if Sven had been here at the start of the season; we'd probably be in the top 6. In order to do that next season, we need Sven, we don't need to vilify him in a perverse quest to find someone to blame.

Would not go as far as saying he's done a brilliant job, what he has done is set up a team capable of picking off footballing sides with relative ease such as Burnley, Millwall etc but the real grinders like Palace, Cov and Pompey he just couldnt figure them out, world class managers figure them out and adapt their style to suit.

He has without doubt been decent for us, but I think he's made many errors along the way albeit some of them minor. We have been crying out for 2 lung bursting midfielders to run their guts out for a long time while Wellens or Gally play the glory pass, the decision to let one of our liveliest midfielders in Moussa go to Donny is a headscratcher for me, we should now be throwing him in along with Schlupp in these dead rubber games to see what they could potentially offer next season.

His other major headaches are in goal, we should really look at disposing of all 3 keepers given their comedy performances this season, we need to bring in 2 and take a look at Ambrusics pre season.

The Centre back issues with Vitor being dropped after a clean sheet and 2 goals at Scunny, the inclusion of Bruma and Sol Bamba who both look a liability whilst Hobbs has a realistic shout at play off glory with Hull need sorting out.

And finally Mr Yakubu....who's greed and effort is everything thats wrong with the game, his lack of input grips my shit and I hope I never see him in a city shirt again.

If he really is world class then we'll be sat here top of the pile this time next year, I want him to do well but he's like a goldfish with alzheimers when it comes to team selection.

I'll give him a season with his own players, a pre season where he can get the squad fit (take note sousa) and keep my fingers crossed.
