davieG Posted 30 April 2011 Posted 30 April 2011 I don't get to see them every week but I'm always impressed by the quality of the goals throughout the football league compared with a few years back, I don't know if it's improvements to the ball, the pitches, the skill levels of the players or a combination but they certainly seem better.
iloveleicester Posted 30 April 2011 Posted 30 April 2011 Most goals are always scored from outside the box which is pleasing, Not if you are called Chris weale though

I know what you mean. I put it down to teams being a lot more "professional" even though it has aways been called professional football.. If you take the bottom half of the premier league down to the top half of league 1 it must be the most competitive 3 tier in world football. Who would be keen on putting £50 on Blackpool away at Southampton?
