Unit Posted 22 June 2011 Posted 22 June 2011 A few seasons ago an arsenal player kicked the ball from mid-air whilst a goalkeeper was kicking it out of his box, I'm fairly sure it was Henry... However, I've searched ****ing everywhere for a video of it but can't find it., any search for "henry keeper" comes up with him having injured an american keeper the other day, any search for "Henry keeper hands" inevitably leads to a video of henry handballing vs ireland! Please help me get that video, it wont make my day or anything but it'd be nice!

That's all I could find I'm afraid, I hope it's right. Deep into injury time Van Der Gouw saved Upson's header and Martin Keown kicked the ball out of the keeper's hands - but the referee over-ruled the strike for a foul.

Was it not disallowed because the act of the keeper dropping the ball and then kicking it is counted as one movement? That's the actual rule, although of course the ref could have disallowed it for the wrong reason. Edit: Just listened to the commentator. He's an idiot. The ball isn't in play until it has left the goaly's foot. Unless I'm massively mistaken. REFEREES OF FOXESTALK! REVEAL YOURSELVES!

That'd make throwing the ball out a bit of an odd situation don't you think? It's probably some shite about it being unsporting.
