jockkkk Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 Hi all, Does anyone know if the club will be auctioning any of the now defunkt Walkers stuff from the stadium? I moved to Leicester the week before Filbert Street was pulled down so I've only ever known the Walkers and getting a small piece of something would be great. I live and work in Leeds now and my colleagues who are Leeds fans can't decide whether King Power sounds like a dart player or gigolo![/size]
Nunny Fox Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 I thought "King power" was on the set meal for two at the golden dragon, but to aswer your question, i have no idea mate sorry.
jockkkk Posted 22 July 2011 Author Posted 22 July 2011 Ha ha - there are many opportunities for people to rip into us for this
Mr Happy Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 I actually believe we've got the spelling wrong. It's spelt 'King Pau Hier' and in actual fact he was the king of Makabelivaland during the Early Dynasty period of roughly 3500bc to 2700bc ....... ...as for your question I'd imagine they'd have to get rid of the memorabilia due to the new name of the stadium. Maybe at an auction
jonthefox Posted 22 July 2011 Posted 22 July 2011 seen on a derby board. The fu KING POWER failure stadium . Actually made me chuckle.
