Since then, nothing. first of all, your wummery has become very tedious, find something new to do other than rag on sven (preferably piss off). Secondly what the **** does that have do with what he said? Sven was not a part of what benjaldinho said, all he said was you can't sign almost an entire new team and expect them to click instantly, that's true of any team, with any manager in charge.

Basil Brush Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 4 words sumerise the game for me: StLedger = Crap Maynard = Great Agreed, teh positions Maynard got into with his movement was a problem for our defenders with his turn of pace, always looking for that ball into him from diagonal wide, we could not leave him and go forward, we lose the ball and bang they were off on the break, the summery for me was we were not set up to deal with a counter attacking very pacey side. St Ledger i though had a good game all things considered.
the new guy Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 but the football we play is more frustrating than worrying. i can see the potential for great football to be played. at times we move the ball very well we pass it around fast. its just we lack the final ball but i think with time that will come.. u cant just throw a whole group of players together and expect then to click just like that. i have confidence that in a few weeks we will have our game sorted. all our players can play football just some of then now lack the confidence to make the risky pass. we play good football at times just sometimes we find it hard to pass the ball foward with real penetration. we played better football than bristol and u could tell we had the better player and we where really trying to play good football so with the combination of good footballers trying to play good football our time will come. with Pablo in charge we had a awful start and there was still talks about auto promotion around January, February time. so lets get it in perspective we where all ways gonna lose some games this season so in my opinion is simply a storm in a tea cup. :scarf:
