Guest shearfox Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 This reminds me of the England team, no clue, no one knows what they should be doing and no urgency at all going forward. Bristol we should be beating easily, we have spent so much but very little gain.
Benjaldinho Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 You put 10 new players into the team and expect them to click instantly?? Come on really? We only three games in cslm the hell down!
Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 We've spent 10mil on Schmichael, Koncheskey, Peltier, Mills and SSL which is a laughing stock. Decent players but noway are that lot worth10million.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 You put 10 new players into the team and expect them to click instantly?? Come on really? We only three games in cslm the hell down! It isnt too much to ask. These are supposedly good players good players who are played in the correct system and formation should click. Thats what pre season is for as well. Maybe winning all three games was unrealistic, but we SHOULD have had at least 6/9 points.

Decent players but noway are that lot worth10million. So we should not have bought them? Thats the price in the current inflated market and plus clubs knowing we had money. Im pleased we are able to be able to go out and buy 'decent' players rather than having has been's like in the past.
blueblood88 Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 You put 10 new players into the team and expect them to click instantly?? Come on really? We only three games in cslm the hell down! This will wear thin very soon, the teams at the top had to gel quickly, and have done exactly that! I think if you forget about what the bookies and media have said about us, the players we have signed are very average. What worries me, is that we haven't had to really fight to get any of our signings to the club. Their old clubs sold them without any real hesitation, even Mills.
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 It's not the players, it's the system. It doesn't work, it shows no signs of working and there doesn't seem to be any alternative. Waghorn wide right tonight reminded me of Fryatt on the wing under Hollowhead. Sven is supposed to be "right up there with managerial know-how" so why does he persist in making poor tactical decisions?

Just stating the fact when a team spends 10mil you expect big things no matter who you are. Im just disapointed with the quality we've got with the amount we've paid.

Agreed, im not a Sven basher as he is obviously a very experienced manager but his tactics at present are shite!!!
Unabomber Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 ****inghell you thick ***** its ONE GAME OF FOOTBALL
Blinking Blue Owl Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 One game ? you thick **** did you miss the Reading one then ?
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Stick to what you know. Dont start topics. Tonight this forum is completely littered with utter crap. Did you really need to start this up to tell us we played shit. Have you not read the other 482 threads about how useless we are.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Think although Sven is a vastly experienced manager with the ability to get it spot on at City, at the moment he isnt, this may be only 3 league games into the season (ive been to all 3 so far) the tactics for the home games are all wrong, we are far too negative and dont look threatening at all, we are poor, very very poor at the moment
Tuna Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 Cardiff made about 10 signings and won 2 out of 2. The 'need time to gel' card is old, tired and not acceptable.
accessory Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Indeed. Compare and contrast our start with Derby's, even though they had a much bigger rebuilding job than we did.

Hopefully it is only going to take ours a little while longer and then we'll go on a massive winning streak.
MPH Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 give it 3 wins on the bounce and you will be getting the same fans writing all these threads saying how Brilliant Sven is and how great all the players are and how its money well spent....

lee(lcfc) Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 just look at man city they didnt start doing anything for two season, not saying it will take us that long but they need to gel and yes it looks bad on us because we spent over 10mil on players.

I'm not buying this "time to gel" bullshine, last night was all about poor tactics and if it's not sorted quickly we will be 10 games in and in exactly the same position that we were last season. We've now got to go to Forest which is never easy then we have Southampton at home and they are flying at the moment. Get nothing from these 2 games and we go to Barnsley in mid September and could potentially be 12 points off the pace. I fully expect to get slated for negativity now but it's my honest assessment based on what I've seen at the 3 games so far!

Fox92 Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 ****inghell you thick ***** its ONE GAME OF FOOTBALL + Reading = 2 games. I cannot belive that we are supposed to be challenging for promotion, yet we have lost two home games and one of them was to a side who were bottom with no points. Its embarrasing. And everyone can say 'its only one game you mardy git', well one becomes two which becomes three and so on, you all know what happened last season, we were left behind and everyone wanted the manager out. 3 points from 3 games is not good enough if we want to be challenging for promotion. We have two very hard games next, Nottingham Forest and Southampton.
somebum Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 You put 10 new players into the team and expect them to click instantly?? Come on really? We only three games in cslm the hell down! Get real man. He hasn't won anything as a manager since 2000, where he was bankrolled to the tune of £274 million. Since then, nothing.
