Desperate for a good Goal Scorer

I know we are early in the season, but we are in need of a goal or two more( haha). Vassell good tho he is, is not (anymore) an out and out striker. We are in desperate need of a good goal scorer otherwise, I fear that we will not chalenge the top of the table. With the investment we have made we do need to start getting some results, and although Sven has made some fantastic signings I feel we need a regular goal scorer if we are to do well.

To be honest, I think some decent backup might do us. Nugent and Vassell showed signs of being a potential good pairing up front yesterday, and while I think we do need at least one more forward, I don't necessarily think we need another first choice striker. I think we should get someone better than Waghorn, and who maybe offers something different to what we already have. I think a target man might be a good idea - a better version of Howard for going route 1 when needed towards the end of the match, but I do admit that we shouldn't be looking to play such a simple game with the amount of quality in the squad.

I think the midfield will chip in with plenty of goals this season, and even more if/when Johnson is fully fit, so just a bit more depth in the striker department is necessary, I reckon.

I was thinking we should aim to get one or two decent wingers in, but if Sven sticks with the diamond formation (which I think he'd be stupid not to), we won't need any.
