Rincewind Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Any professionals here? Just filling my job application in. Got my optician for one went to submit it and found out that I needat least three. It also one must be my former line manager (boss?) but he's done a runner and the companys in liquidation. Hence me applying for a cleaners job. Got until next Tuesday. Was hoping to get it all done for tomorrow. Although referees will only be used if I get through to the interview stage. I have found info on my previous place. The HR manager is qualified in almost everything and ex-military. I am sure it's him. His previous HR roles ties in with who I worked for. I remember when I first started. He made me stand in front of a mirror and stand straight with arms by my side. Nice bloke but wasn't keen on his military style. Shall call the uni helpline they have on the application. No time to contact him and ask him.
