Matt Posted 20 June 2005 Posted 20 June 2005 Ok, we ain't playing Premiership football week in week out, and we ain't challenging for the Premiership title but Arsenal are charging fans £850 for there cheapest ST and upto £1800...Why? No doubt Arsenal are in debt I don't think there are many clubs not in debt but Arsenal are in no danger with there debt, Arsenal don't need to raise money for anything - Yes they need money to keep the club going but how come a club like Leicester can survive on charging the prices we do and Arsenal and such teams have to charge those prices? Yeah you could say Arsenal, Man Utd, e.t.c are where they are because of the money they have raised by ripping off fans in this way but I really do think there should be some kind of maximum amount clubs can charge fans now! Fans are what make football, if there were no fans what would be the point in the game? According to SPN Arsenal fans have been having to buy 1 Season Tickets between 3 people! It really isn't on IMO! As people probably know I really do hate Arsenal and the less fans they have is great for me I want Arsenal to go downhill, but i'm thinking of Arsenal fans here and its really not fair at all!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 June 2005 Posted 20 June 2005 Same principle as players wages, as long as there is demand then prices will continue to rise. The only people who can do anything about this are the fans, but there are too many people on the waiting lists to make any sort of collective action feasible.
