Don't need to worry about Democracy, that nice Mr Cameron and his friends will tell you what to do and think.
Rincewind Posted 12 October 2011 Author Posted 12 October 2011 Launch today in Humberstone Gate.10-4pm Citizens Eye will have a stand next to the big screen. I will be there after 2.30pm. I have my Walkers City shirt on. There will be filming and cameras all over the place. Don't know what I'll be doing but it's part of my Community Jornalism course to be involved in some capacity. Looks like a nice day for it.
Rincewind Posted 12 October 2011 Author Posted 12 October 2011 Good start to the week. There was a stage where anyone could have their say. I was only there for the last hour but saw one woman get up and pleading to David Cameron to do something about jobs for young and old. There were several stands from help groups from across the City. One thing I thought was kinda strange. The Leicester Seccular Society stand was right next to the stand for The Council for United Faiths. Took some photos and a short video of one of the 60 second speeches. Sounds not as clear as I would have liked. Probably standing too far away. Dont know if it cn be cleaned up. Its in my video documents atm. The girl speaking is an Italian Journalist staying in England for a while. She has enrolled in the Journalist Course and says in Italy all that is reported is news about politicians and they don't seem to care about the people.
