renards Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 What a surprise! Yet another essay by Thracian, talking complete shit yet again! The good folk of Coalville have had to live with the reputation of being, thick, meatheads. inbreeds, dalards, Obviously this cannot be said for them all as I know some very good and normal people from there. Three's got to be some sort of reason for this perception
Cecchini1976 Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 Is Tunchev better than Mills and Sol? Not even a close call, he was excellent before his injurys in League 1. So I can only think that anybody who believes him to walk in to our team, is doing so on watching a player in a lower division. For me Tunchev has to prove himself at this level, and also prove he is over his injurys, and judging by his record at Palace is No he is not.
Top_Fox Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 I think Tunchevs involvement will rest solely on Pearsons reaction to Bamba. If Sol adapts his style somewhat then I can't see a way for Tunch into our starting line up.
Guest Col city fan Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 Just 16 goals conceded in 20 matches by Palace this season and nine clean sheets. We've conceded 24 goals in 19 games with only six clean sheets. Quite where the evidence is for Mills or Bamba being "better" than Tunchev I don't know. They are completely different players in any case but Tunchev's reading of the game seems like something we could do with badly. That, and his reliability and calmness under pressure. Great post.. Agree with all of it It's tunch's composure that is missed
tomtom Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 When is the last time any of us truly saw Tunch play even 2 full games back to back and in person ??? To judge him on performances of years gone after the injuries he's suffered is crazy! NP will pick the best players available to him regardless of reputation and in my honest opinion i think Tunch will be behind Mills and Bamba in the reckoning
