I'm a fairly hardcore Googler as I have an Android phone and use Gmail etc, but I just cannot be arsed with Plus. It's obvious that Google are peeved at the idea of missing out on the social networking bandwagon and Google tend not to fail with their products - but I just can't see Plus taking off. What are everybody's thoughts/ experiences?

I don't really like it, facebook basically does everything I need to chat with my friends and share pics already.

I am Rod Hull Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 My Mrs uses it to talk to her parents, sisters, nephews and nieces who all live in Essex its a good way to multi screen chat. Mostly use skype though for one to one.

Mostly use skype though for one to one. That's Googletalk, which has been built into Googlemail for years. Google + is a sort of weird, pointless, complicated networky thing.

Music Junkie Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 It's a shame, really, because it really is a nice system. The problem was having the closed beta at the start, which meant nobody had any friends to talk to!
z-layrex Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 I don't really like Android as a mobile phone OS, but I use an android tablet at home and for academic purposes, also use gmail and heavily rely on google calendar. But Google+? Just cannot be ****ing arsed with it.
