skinnydipper Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Typical lawyer, always touting for business. You misunderstand. They're simply assisting with Access to Justice ( terms and conditions apply; must have tons of cash/assets to help your lawyer help you)
sphericalfox Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Is it the season to get married or have a baby? I've received 4 wedding invitations in the last 48 hours. Have 3 mates all going to seperate weddings this weekend 2 Mates bailed on a day at the races as they are going to seperate bucks parties this weekend I have 3 engagement parties in the next 4 weekends (only one is related to the 4 wedding invites i received) I'm attending 3 weddings (seperate to the top weddings) in the next 6 weeks. Pregancies Out of a department of 22 at work 4 pregnant women one just popped, 2 go on maternety leave today and another one in a fortnight. 2 Close friends are up the hilary duff one over due and another one in a week. 2 Cousins are due in 3 and 5 weeks, another cousin 5 months pregnant. What the hell is happening? It's the old adage of getting old. I did the smart thing, I got married first and had a bairn at the first opportunity, that way I instantly reduced the number of friends I had, and from then on it was a systematic scaling down policy, all to the point where I have no friends and least of all the worry of having to spend money on stag do's or wedding presents and events linked to such celebrations. Now all I have to worry about is spending money on drink at funerals. It's the way forward.
