cc_star Posted 30 March 2012 Posted 30 March 2012 Southampton have obviously been bankrolled out of League 1 and I think through the summer of this pre-season by Markus Liebherr who has since died, his £33m investment into the club was in the form of a loan, which the club would have had to repay over time, probably out of future revenues which appears as though it's going to be Premier League. After he died, the club obviously owed the money to 'his estate' but now the club no longer owes the money having given shares instead. One other interesting tidbit was that wages made up 93% of turnover http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17547804
Mack Posted 30 March 2012 Posted 30 March 2012 That bloke's death seems to have been fortuitous for them.
AyewJoking Posted 30 March 2012 Posted 30 March 2012 unrelated but do we own the KP or are we still paying for it?
