Guest Bilo Posted 27 May 2012 Posted 27 May 2012 Like it or not, it's difficult to have a full and proper discussion about why MK Dons' attendances are so low and why they feel this is necessary without discussing their coming into being. Most clubs know that they can call on supporters who've inherited their passion for their club through family ties, I myself am at least a third generation City fan, but MK Dons are uniquely compromised in this area in that they need to persuade football fans not to support Premiership clubs and come to stadium:mk for a match without 'dad pressure' that the other 91 Football League clubs can call upon, albeit to varying degrees. In moving, they inherited next to no Wimbledon fans and so had to start afresh. Their issues are utterly unique to them, and that's an issue that can't be easily avoided.

MK Dons are here to stay and I've got no problem with it, which is what I've said for ages. I went in 2008, the 2-2 draw, it is a nice little ground. They currently have a good manager, and play attractive football at the minute. It's just the fact, and you should know, once a topic on MK Dons is brought up, people will start about MK Dons/Wimbledon and everything...

It's just the fact, and you should know, once a topic on MK Dons is brought up, people will start about MK Dons/Wimbledon and everything... Their academy in the football league is decent, they have probably the THE best young manager in the football league too
