Guest Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 All businesses exist to make money. No they don't. There are "businesses" that exist to make life better for humanity, but in our capitalist society most of them do. My point was that it doesn't necessarily mean we should "admire" them which was the post I quoted when making my flippant remarks. And surprisingly maybe but not all businesses cheat and subvert in order to make money.

davieG Posted 3 July 2012 Author Posted 3 July 2012 I never said it was right and that's why this company have been fined $3billion. The title of this thread was "can anyone be trusted?" which is obviously an over reaction. You'd never believe that reading these threads. Isn't that an over reaction?
Guest Posted 3 July 2012 Posted 3 July 2012 You'd never believe that reading these threads. But the bigs one that do, hurt. (or is that what my wife said to me this afternoon). Isn't that an over reaction? You didn't quote his "All businesses exist to make money"
