Rincewind Posted 5 July 2012 Posted 5 July 2012 Opportunity To Meet Past Present Future Athletes On Friday 6th July, Hollie Sturgess will be hosting ‘An Audience With…‘ at the Curve Theatre. The event, which is from 5-7pm, is being made possible by the help and support of somewhereto_. The guests for ‘An Audience With…’ are all athletes, some retired, up and coming, and already established. The line up includes; - Retired hockey player, Jo Mould - Retired gymnast, Avril Lennox - Retired javelin/shot putter, Kenny Churchill - Para-triathlete, Haseeb Ahmad - American footballer turned sprinter, Sam Ruddock. The athletes will be in conversation with the host whilst answering questions. The audience will also get the opportunity to direct their own questions to athletes. It’s an opportunity for the audience to get to know what athletes are really like away from their sport. The event is hoped to inspire young people to follow their dreams by listening to each athletes unique story. There will be an opportunity at the end to have photographs taken with any of the athletes. Everyone is welcome to the event which is completely free. ‘An Audience With..’ will start at 5pm in the Curve Theatre on the first floor. Disability access is available. Might have a look.
