Dog Shelters In Leicester

[boring_jester]

Recently moving out away from the parents and getting my own place, me and the misses finally decided to get a dog. We wanted to get one from a shelter and went to around 5 in the leicestershire are. At every shelter we visited the staff where friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. We ended up getting a 3 year old greyhound from the dogs trust witch the misses collects tonight (can't wait).

I created a facebook page for all dog lovers in the leicestershire area to hopefully raise a little bit more awareness of the amazing work these charities do. So if your a dog lover and you would like to help spred the word about these charities and the animals they have then please join/like the page and share some stories, photos and videos of your beloved pets and help spread the word.

Good luck with the greyhound, my mate had one (ex racer) from a shelter but it wouldn`t settle so he had to take it back. Lovely dogs though.

I`m a Jack Russell man myself.... small, clever and feisty
