Recording off the web

any one know of any software I could use to record the sound of something off of youtube. Need some new ringtones for the phone and have found a Defender video.

I'll need to be able to chop the sound waves up as well so I'll need something to do that also.

Use Free YouTube to MP3 converter by DVDVideosoft to download it as an MP3. Then, use Audacity to cut the bit you want.

The DVDsoft one is the best one to use, you just have to watch it with the installer as it will have a bunch of options ticked to install toolbars on your pc by default, just make sure you uncheck them and make sure you actually read what is on screen.
