foz.foz Posted 6 September 2012 Posted 6 September 2012 any one know of any software I could use to record the sound of something off of youtube. Need some new ringtones for the phone and have found a Defender video. I'll need to be able to chop the sound waves up as well so I'll need something to do that also. Thanks.. Foz
Petchy Posted 6 September 2012 Posted 6 September 2012 Use Free YouTube to MP3 converter by DVDVideosoft to download it as an MP3. Then, use Audacity to cut the bit you want.
foz.foz Posted 6 September 2012 Author Posted 6 September 2012 Thanks fellas.. "Conversion server is currently not available, please try again later!" at the moment but I'll try a bit later.
CupidStunt Posted 6 September 2012 Posted 6 September 2012 this is what i use to cut mp3's, its free also http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Other-AUDIO-Tools/Free-MP3-Cutter.shtml
MrSpaM Posted 7 September 2012 Posted 7 September 2012 The DVDsoft one is the best one to use, you just have to watch it with the installer as it will have a bunch of options ticked to install toolbars on your pc by default, just make sure you uncheck them and make sure you actually read what is on screen. http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/free-youtube-to-mp3-converter.htm
foz.foz Posted 7 September 2012 Author Posted 7 September 2012 I managed to do a couple with the links that 21st and Petchy gave me thanks. Off to do a few more.
