I've been on my own all week; they are lurking outside the windows, daring me to open them for fresh air, the bar stewards.

lol

You know that whilst you are sleeping the spiders will be crawling in your bed , on your floor , up your walls and worst of all they will be crawling on YOU :o:unsure::ph34r:

Which is probably why I don't sleep then!

Spiders have to be the scariest creatures in the universe.

I once visited Saudi Arabia when I was younger and some Arab guy told me he was camping in the desert with a friend and when they awoke in the morning,  half of his friends face was missing. A Camel Spider had injected a local anesthetic into his face and then eat his face off while the guy was sleeping...I've had a fear of spiders since.

Camel spiders injecting local anesthetic and eating flesh unnoticed is an urban myth

hehe i hate em but heres some facts for ya

we are NEVER more than 1 metre from a spider

BEWARE the little buggers can jump good distances too

daddy long legs have weak fangs so cannot bite humans but if they could then it would be good night irene their posion is the worst in the spider family :o

although trap door spiders sound pretty cool not that i ever want to meet one in person :(

I remeber a documentary a few years back that said that was another false urban myth.

Anyway, another spider story, I was brushing my teeth in my bathroom and I suddenly felt somthing hairy had fallen onto the back of my neck. So I quickly brushed it off and I then noticed a really big huntsman spider (not sure if you have them in England?) was on the ground(lucky they're pretty harmlesss).
