I once visited Saudi Arabia when I was younger and some Arab guy told me he was camping in the desert with a friend and when they awoke in the morning, half of his friends face was missing. It was lterally the size of a 50p coin and altogether it was the size of my palm. Needless to say I had baths for weeks... P.S. So that's why you've not been able to get to sleep

dhermon Posted 16 July 2005 Posted 16 July 2005 hehe i hate em but heres some facts for ya we are NEVER more than 1 metre from a spider BEWARE the little buggers can jump good distances too daddy long legs have weak fangs so cannot bite humans but if they could then it would be good night irene their posion is the worst in the spider family although trap door spiders sound pretty cool not that i ever want to meet one in person

Anyway, another spider story, I was brushing my teeth in my bathroom and I suddenly felt somthing hairy had fallen onto the back of my neck. So I quickly brushed it off and I then noticed a really big huntsman spider (not sure if you have them in England?) was on the ground(lucky they're pretty harmlesss).
