Guest MattP Posted 15 September 2012 Posted 15 September 2012 Good idea. Some paranoid ****ers in here.
Captain... Posted 15 September 2012 Posted 15 September 2012 I can honestly say I've never used a receipt to check change, and strangely it has never crossed my mind. I've always thought of receipts as proof of purchase for card and when I pay in cash I work out what change I'm owed while they're fannying around with the till. This is more just an observation really I've never used it to check change, but I will often check that the thing I bought purely because it is on offer actually picks up the correct price. Although not an issue with self service check outs, but it is quite common to end up paying full price for something on offer.
