Deathside Posted 24 July 2005 Posted 24 July 2005 Anyone familiar with The Exposion? They are playing on the Lock-Up / Concrete Jungle stage at Leeds festy (They've just done the Warped tour in the US) Just heard a track on Scuzz - Seemed alright - Another band added to my Must listen to list The Explosion Homepage
Mark Posted 24 July 2005 Posted 24 July 2005 Hadn't heard of them so went onto their Purevolume - www.purevolume.com/theexplosion Sounds pretty good!
Cat Burger Posted 25 July 2005 Posted 25 July 2005 I've seen them live and they were ok, but all I could hear were the drums. I've seen the video and it was quite good but they are not like that live, the fat lead singer couldn't get the crowd going.

If the sound was as bad as you describe then I guess it would be hard to get anyone interested? Sound is generally pretty good at The Concrete Jungle stage at Leeds (Or Lock-Up stage as it's called this year) - I'm still optomistic
Cat Burger Posted 26 July 2005 Posted 26 July 2005 Rock City, Nottingham in March. The sound did let them down but the other bands that night were fine. I swear they had four guitarists but I'd had a few beers...One of them had a nice hat if that helps?
