No New Date For Boston

Leicester City's proposed pre-season friendly clash against Boston United will now be played during the upcoming 2005-06 campaign.

The Pilgrims had kindly agreed to move the fixture back eight days following a build up of injuries within the Foxes squad.

Boston then moved the game forward a week to fill in the void created when Inter Milan pulled out of proposed friendly game at the Walkers Stadium.

But Inter's u-turn forced City to postpone the game once again, and now the fixture will be played after the season has begun.

City boss Craig Levein said: "Boston have been messed about, although it is obviously not something that we have done deliberately. We now hope to play them at some point during the season."
