The return of the Spine.

I can remember during the O'Neill era how strong our spine was, reliable and consistent, and in recent weeks it looks to have re-emerged.

.............Kasper

....Morgan.....Keane

...James........King

...Wood........Schlupp

Just puts into perspective how poor our wider players have been this season.

Konch has been poor, and is clear that his age is catching up with him.

Dyer, Knocky and marshall have all been poor creatively, despite Knocky's tricks he doesn't really get many assists, we all know dyer isn't the most technically gifted, and marshall has looked out of place in the youth development games.

Getting rid of the likes of Konch, Whitbread, St.Ledger, wellens, gallagher, danns, beckford, vardy, should allow us to comply with the FFP rules and add players of quality in the squad.

remember that our squad is very thin in terms of numbers so really we need to add more players than we let go. and to add many players of a higher standard than the ones being let go costs money. as metallica once said, "sad but true"

With the wages those players are on it maybe easier said than done to shift them. What does look clear from loan policy and recent matchday squads is that Wellens, Waggy, Danns, Beckford and possibly St Ledger aren't likely to be in plans. Question is how many other clubs would pay anywhere approaching the wedge they are on here. Guess those 5 alone are costing us upwards of £100k a week. Shocking waste of money.

St Ledger is one player I would definitely keep very surprised NP has ditched him when we are leaking goals for fun.

St Ledger is very overrated for me, not sure what others see in him. He's an average championship centre back, nothing more. Struggles to cope with big players, and he's not got much pace. I don't think he's the talented ball-playing centre back that others see either.

exactly, cannot overpower players like morgan can, and remember he got st ledger got outpaced by fryatt whereas Keane didn't get outdone by pace by zaha.

St Ledger the most talented CB in the Championship.

No shortage of takers here and abroad if he's allowed to leave.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaahhaahhahaahaha
