chili_con_carne Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I know it would have been a great day out at Wembley but who says we would have won? Who says what happened this afternoon wouldnt have happened at Wembley? Imagine how much it would have hurt if we lost by a last minute goal at wembley. The number of times we let a last minute goal in... It most likely would have happened at wembley. Wembley isn't everything. It's still a pitch with grass on. I know I said I wouldn't come on here again but just please dont get too down about it. Football is a cruel game and isn't everything. Be happy we even got to the play offs. Happy there is no football on this summer. Time for a break from the game. There is only a 25% chance you will win in the play offs and maybe our fans were too cocky after the 1st leg. Singing were going to wembley. I was cringing all the way back from the ground Thursday evening. Knowing a 1-0 lead against watford was far from over. Got to say that if Vydra hadn't have scored that amazing goal then we would have gone through today. It gave him a massive boost of confidence. Hope they go up now as they have played great free flowing football all season and will give us more chance next season if they go up now. Well done to watford and now for a nice summer away from football and to focus on more important things.
Kitchandro Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Give over. I'd take any possible footballing scenario over the one that just happened. There is no positive way to look at today.
