I got a signed copy of 'Gibbo' the Davie Gibson story.

And what a palaver it was - typical LCFC balls up. Gibbo was at the Watford league game to do book signings, my son made a special trip down to the KP as he could not make the game.

When he got there Gibbo was there but no books, after some debate they told him to write down what he wanted signed and said they would post it to him in a few days. 4 weeks later nothing so he called them and they said they were now in but wanted a fiver off him for postage. After several dead end calls and emails with people passing the buck they eventually agreed to post it without charge.

So thanks son for all your efforts and for the great present one I had considered getting but am now glad I didn't

How on earth did they know that's the sort of thing you'd like ?

Beats me, it's not the sort of thing I go on about.

It’s kinda spooky really . I don’t normally believe in all that ESP stuff , but sometimes these sort of things happen that really get me thinking there might be summat in it .

Yup, I guessed right.

I got this card I wondered if some of the older members could help me identify the players. Obviously Spur, probably early 70s I think the one on the end is Steve Perryman.

Next to Perryman could be Cyril Knowles, nice one!
