This is National Carers Week so sparee a thought for those that have to look after eldly or disabled relatives and find it difficult to cope. We talked about this on our radio show and I forget what the figure was for Leicester area but many people have to become fulltime carers overnight/ Strokes and disabilities can happen anytimy. Andy Morris our disability campaigner said that there is very little information other than online about care homes and centres.

Right I'm off bed now  I've left you with this message. Hope you all have pleasant dreams. I know it won't bother Moosebreath so I am sure he will.

Good thread Ken! Many Carers are true heroes we should look up to! Many people have to become Carers when loved ones suffer ill health and it is a full time job in itself, its not a choice many of them can make. I've met people who juggle work, family commitments (young children) and caring for parents which leaves them no time for themselves! How they do it all i have no idea!

An organisation name was given out on our radio show but I forget it. It advises where to go for help etc.

The presenter was saying there should be a City Centre drop in place giving names of companies that offer help. He dsays not everyone knows how to Google or have the finances for a PC especially the elderly.
