nlukka Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Got a bit carried away in the festive spirit last night! Woke up this morning feeling terrible, head spinning as I got out of bed. The last thing I wanted to do was trek it across London for the game. For a brief moment I contemplated going back to bed and watching the game on Sky (was probably still drunk, that's the only way I can explain such thoughts). Eventually I summoned up the courage to go, in the expectation that QPR would tear us a new one. Got to the ground and the second wave of my hangover kicked in, I couldn't even talk let alone sing. Slowly though, the voice returned and I even managed to join in a song after 20 minutes. When the goal went in I almost vomited (too much jumping aboug!), but it was totally worth it. Suddenly I felt right as rain and I knew I'd made the right decision in going. Come full time I was even smiling! Thank you Leicester City for saving my life (not literally, of course). Might have to go again tonight, just to show my appreciation!
Voll Blau Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 If you'd have just been sensible enough to keep drinking you wouldn't have been stuck with a hangover.
