inckley fox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 He's dead isn't he? I think he died on the pitch for someone or other years ago.
vetchbook Posted 3 April 2014 Author Posted 3 April 2014 Yes. Robbie tragically died whilst doing something he loved: playing football. It was whilst he was playing for Llanelli AFC, here in Wales, back in 1998.
vetchbook Posted 3 April 2014 Author Posted 3 April 2014 Robbie enjoyed his time at the club and especially liked living in the area.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Robbie enjoyed his time at the club and especially liked living in the area.I can remember him playing for City. Tidy little player if I remember right
wight88 Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Remember him scoring in the two games when Newell and Rantanen both scored when Bryan Hamilton first signed them. We had two four goal home wins in 4 days and think was the same players that scored in both games. The other one I think was Ian Wilson? And the games were Plymouth and either Oldham or Man City if memory serves me correctly. Nice tribute anyway to a player who was clearly a great character of the game.
Kinowe Soorie Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 I got his autograph once. He was at the opening of a clothes shop on Charles Street.
