dayday Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Does anybody know how big we are in Thailand(commercially,t.v etc) especially now we have been promoted.
Far Post Gerry Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 Not on TV last season, and to be honest, there's not much public interest either. There is a Leicester column in one of the Thai language newspapers, but that's about as far as it goes. BUT if we string a few wins together next season I can see the Thais starting to take interest. They loved it when Thaksin took over Man City. It's all about big names and who's on TV. I'm sitting next to the Chao Praya River in Bangkok as I speak, and can see two massive Singha billboards with Wayne Rooney and John Terry on them. Would be magic to see Jamie Vardy's face plastered up there!
TheRutlandfox Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 One of my work colleagues was out there last summer working for a few months and is a Leeds fan and said it was awful seeing LCFC plastered all over the airport
Manny2802 Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 I was out there in jan and there wasn't much had a few comments about the king power logo on my shirts but that was it, as for the airport bit it was tiny thought it would have been bigger, hopefully with us being in the prem it might help and I'm going back out jan again as well
conLAD logan Posted 12 April 2014 Posted 12 April 2014 I'm currently in koh Samui, nothing leicester related things anywhere. However, they do sell leicester merchandise in the king power stores in bangkok
