nilsatisnisioptimum Posted 7 July 2014 Author Posted 7 July 2014 Why do you have the most mental goal celebrations in the world but often have away ends all sat in total silence? Tv probs - you'll see on opening day
nilsatisnisioptimum Posted 7 July 2014 Author Posted 7 July 2014 Squad is too good for the Championship obviously, was almost a procession towards the end and the only team to beat us after mid-December was Brighton in April when the players had been easing off and enjoying promotion a few days earlier. Whether they can step up is another challenge. Main players will be Drinkwater and James, who won't get the media recognition they deserve, Riyad Mahrez and Anthony Knockaert have a lot of flair and will have a lot of exposure, Kasper Schmeichel too due to his family connections. Marc Albrighton is an interesting signing. Jamie Vardy's pace and energy will be a handful. Based on last season we'll play an open, entertaining game. The stats showed we had most possession in the opposition half in the Championship, though we can mix it up and go direct. I don't think we'll be dull and the neutrals will enjoy watching us, so the first game should be a cracker. Hope so - last season vs swansea was a cracker
nilsatisnisioptimum Posted 7 July 2014 Author Posted 7 July 2014 I find Everton to be one of the more likeable bigger clubs. Very decent fans (though it's hard to really gauge when you haven't played someone in ten years so things may have changed), one of the six grounds in the top flight I've yet to visit and intend to this season. Very good manager who I don't have a bad word to say about. Good team who are easy on the eye though will take some work given the departing loanees. Good luck to you. If you do come tk goodison then most away fans drink in the thomas frost (wetherspoons) on county road where they mingle with blues, however if you want cheap booze theres a bar called the queens opposite which is v. Cheap and generally a good atmosphere - as long as you don't act a tit you'll be welcomed for a pre match bevvy (they do them 660ml stellas for around 2.60 and the house doubles are around the same)
lestajigs Posted 7 July 2014 Posted 7 July 2014 Arsenal would be 3rd? Man U Liverpool Arsenal Everton Oh yes, maybe right that, i remember Chelsea in the 90s and they couldn't even sell 3 stands, so Chelsea would behind man city no doubt
