Matt Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 Can anyone get goals/highlights (Preferably Leicester goals) on there mobile? How do you do it? I am on Orange and i'm sure I know people on Orange who can get goals, I've tried to use "Orange World" today to download some but can't connect to Orange World. Also are they overpriced? How much do they cost and are they really worth it?
freund Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 to be honest matt, these things are normally overpriced, may i ask a personal question? feel free to not answer, but do you have sky? i have sky, and they have highlights all the time, you see. i mean, videos are hard to watch on mobiles. i got this video once, it was free, but i could hardly see anything. i am on orange too, matt, but i wouldnt bother. but that's just my opinion, i hope it is of use

freund Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 FAO Matt: what I suggest is that you use your mobile to find a free orange video, and watch it. my phone, the 6170 i think , had poor quality, but maybe yours has good quality, you see all phones are different. but i still think its a bad idea guys
Ultra Posted 21 August 2005 Posted 21 August 2005 Try accessing this site for details. The service works out at £3 a game, so it would be expensive if you kept it all season. But you could try it for a while, and see how you get on.
rossporterlc Posted 22 August 2005 Posted 22 August 2005 only do it if you have ridiculous amounts of credit and no friends to spend it on instead
Matt Posted 22 August 2005 Author Posted 22 August 2005 only do it if you have ridiculous amounts of credit and no friends to spend it on instead 160792[/snapback] Exactly £3 As said I expected it to be expensive but £3
Hitesh Posted 22 August 2005 Posted 22 August 2005 Them things are a total rip off! I remember the days when you could get scores etc for FREE!! They are just trying to get the most amount of money possible! I was just thinking that if you could acess these forums from you phone you could click a link for the highlights that are posted and watch them that way. Not sure if it would work and i gues you would need a top notch phone for it to work, but worth a try, Also on the topic of videos on phones, i saw a Vodafone Live advert today and you can get Gillette Soccer Saturday Live on your phone. I think thats cool BUT i reckon it would be pricey and not reallt worth it!

Hitesh Posted 22 August 2005 Posted 22 August 2005 Vodafone customers currently subscribing to watch every Barclays Premiership goal, which also includes every wicket from this summer’s Ashes series, will receive Gillette Soccer Saturday for no additional charge. By visiting Vodafone live! with 3G, existing 3G customers not currently subscribed to this comprehensive sports service can pay £5 per month with the first month free. Alternatively customers can pay £1 per day for this service. Not as bad as i thought it would be. But i guess its for people who travel a lot and want to keep in touch with scores etc. However, Matt is right and i guess it will be crap video quality and there will be a delay and by that time you would probably know the score!
