Dean Hammond is running a competition for a signed shirt with all proceeds going to the Benali's Big Run fund

If you're old enough, you might remember Franny Benali's only goal in over 300 appearances for Southampton: a looping far-post header that was the only goal of the game against City in December 1997. I was at the Dell that night, and it really was a lovely goal - if you're only going to score one, you might as well make it a cracker!

 

Anyway, Benali is trying to raise £1,000,000 for Cancer Research by running over 1000 miles between each of the 20 Premier League grounds: https://www.justgiving.com/BenalisBigRun/?CMP=EMCFTBEML853.
