Guest Col city fan Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Officially i reckon there was perhaps 1,000 city fans there but unofficially every man and his dog saw it live If I remember rightly, there was a momentary pause before the celebration because none of us could believe what had just happened. And then carnage!! Well, relative carnage for an away game at Grimsby. I remember I think seeing a 'Haddock stand'?
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 I once saw Neil Lennon in krystals off his bonce on a Friday night, only for him to play the next day and pick up the MOM award. That was pretty impressive.
Danizen Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 One that hasn't been mentioned yet: Knocky and Nuge combining to score a beauty of a goal against Forest a couple of years ago.
old koppite Posted 26 December 2014 Posted 26 December 2014 Joe Walters at Qpr in the Fa cup. I was a spotty teenager with 1 or 2 mates in a terrace down the side of the pitch- seemed so small you could hit your head on the ceiling, and crap view. The offical section of Leicester fans behind a goal. The feeling of pride and courage I got when Jw scored and realised there was pockets of leicester fans around us who had been quiet all game, but started singing- brilliant memory. Or Keith Weller's goal at Luton in the cup- I wasn't there but still a classic from a true City legend. Oh, sorry, Lenny Glover's goal against Liverpool , again in the cup.Semi at Villa park - we had the Holte end, all terracing- that must have been one of the best displays of our support ever?
