Wellman Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 I'm thinking of taking it for college next year but not to sure about the subject. Has anybody taking it for AS/A Level at college or sixth form? If so whats it like and how hard did you find it? Cheers
Wilson Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 Did it for AS/A level - Since our college added it into college ages ago it's had a 100% pass rate - I didnt do much work and managed to get a D in it overall so if your just looking to pass an A-Level then pick it.

Nice one. I take it it's not really that hard or you don't have to do much work for it?
Hitesh Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 My mates did that and they did alright in it. They said that they had to loads of reading and remember a lot for exams but its a good subject. I was going to do that in my AS instead of maths (wish i had now)!
Wilson Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 Nah not hard at all, just need to remember bits of information for the exams but the rest is usually just moral decisioning etc. depends what Grade your after - if you want an A etc obviously your gonna have to work hard.

Cheers for the info. Just looking for a pass
Little Nicky Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 It's an interesting subject, I didn't do much work and ended up with an E, but if ya put a little effort in you'll get by easy!
Wilson Posted 28 August 2005 Posted 28 August 2005 Yup I agree 100%, i didnt bother turning up to quite a few lessons and the teachers wanted me to quit the subject so i could "concentrate" on my other subjects but i got a D so if you just want to pass then go for it
Leicester_Mad Posted 29 August 2005 Posted 29 August 2005 i did it and thought it was boring as fock so didnt go to many lessons and scraped an E
Simon Posted 29 August 2005 Posted 29 August 2005 Psychology is not the easy A-Level everyone makes it out to be. I certainly found it the hardest of all the A-Level's I took. It is interesting, but you do have to be able to memorise a fair amount of stuff...
Benji Posted 29 August 2005 Posted 29 August 2005 Nice one. I take it it's not really that hard or you don't have to do much work for it? no A level is like that people may say a levels are getting easier, but that's because more people try and know the importance of doing well. They are still fecking hard and are more about doing the work
Katy Posted 30 August 2005 Posted 30 August 2005 I am actually working towards a degree in this subject, I find it a highly emotive and interesting subject to study. If you are interested in the subject then go for it but I wouldnt say it was easy.
