Ive voted for Paddy K because he has been tremendous, however Kenton has also been excellant and has also had to play in 3 different positions.

Paddy K has been impressive, but I feel the only reason he is recieving votes is because he has scored 2 important goals for us this season, whereas Kenton hasn't scored. In defensive terms, I think Kenton just shades it from Kisnorbo, made all the more impressive by the fact that he has played in different positions, but Kisnorbo hasn't.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you seem to quite often justify your opinion but denigrating the views of others, I'm sure people on here are intelligent enough to take on the 'whole' aspect of a players performance before deciding who to vote for, I think your statement is an insult to those that have voted for Kisnorbo.

Justify Kenton by all means but do so on his merits not by having a dig at other posters.

Genuine or sarcastic Thrac? Can't quite tell...

Just don't like the risk of even talking about Kisnorbo playing in another position!. I like him nicely settled as a centre-back, thanks.

I hear you dude, never meant to come across as insulting anybody or anybodys opinion, just trying to give my reasoning on certain things. Maybe I should be more careful when I post on opinion topics, I seem to cause offense quite often

As do many other people, including myself, which is why he has so far been voted for as player of the month :D:thumbup:

(that better davie?)

It doesn't bother me personally because I didn't vote for either of them. :)

Assumed it did bother you, after all, you were the only person so far to say something about it!

Johnson? Low? Porter? Hammond?

Low and Porter I can understand... but Johnson and Hammond?

Owning up time, who voted for these two?! :ermm:

I voted for Johnson because he has played consistently well and protected the back four as well as playing the ball out to the wings.

So you're the nutcase who voted for Johnson? :pinch:

(I mean that comment entirely in jest, fully aware that I should not denigrate the views of others, in accordance with davieG's Sermon of the Day) ;)

Nope, Johnson's been accounted for. Must be Porter, Low or no vote.

Maybe I should just post something like that after stating a few things on threads such as this one. After all, if it'll keep me away from trouble and another lecture, it can't be bad :)

My guess is Porter but in that case - who's the big Johnson fan. I wonder if my mate's sneaked on from West Brom. He spoke very highly of Johnson before the Sociedad match. MInd you, he didn't say much afterwards.

Alternatively, the use of smilies is effective in conveying the same precise message.

FoxesTalk's Steven has proven this many thousands of times - 6,833 times so far, it seems. :P:D:D:thumbup:

That should clear up who the Johnson fan is :)

Wouldn't want to steal Steven's thunder though. And I also wouldn't want to be labelled as homo-gay or something similar :o

I reckon davieG's gone for a bit of Porter this month. :P

MY crystal balls say so.

You should listen to your balls more often then. :P

I admit it I voted for Porter on the grounds that he has made me smile and I've actually got some enjoyment from watching him play, That's not to say others haven't performed well but that's my criteria for judging him.

HeHe  :sweating:

I for one will not argue with the logic behind your decision. :)

Perhaps if I had the benefit of vision, my vote would be based on the same, or similar, criteria ;)

As it is, I go on what Barber tells me (oh dear) and who's been scoring/setting up goals or stopping them at our end. Hence my Kisnorbo vote - he's done well at the back, and bagged a couple of goals.

I hope you're not voting for him just because he's scored two goals? :nono: or lcfc_jme will be in my face going :P

Nah, I'm a much rounder person than that... if that makes any sense

So there's no need to worry about jme being in your face going  !

The fact that he scored a couple of goals was factored into my decision, sure, but wasn't the sole consideration.

Kisnorbo has been mostly solid at the back, I understand, and that's just as important as scoring.

As I said earlier - Kenton was also in my thinking. His solidity at the back, combined with the fact he's played across the back four was what made him figure highly, for me. ;)

And if jme has a problem with that, I'm gonna come over and give him a slap   :sweating::thumbup:
