Benji Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 spoke to Heath yesterday, we had a college sports presentation. our PE teacher taught Heath at school, so he repayed the favour by being the guest sound lad indeed, it's a shame in my opinion and its common knowledge (as he said again last night) that levein doesn't rate him as a player suitable for our squad. He mentioned something about being on/just as good as being on the transfer list and will soon be gone so it seems a link to hull is very likely. good luck son and fair play for turning up last night was good
Anish Posted 30 June 2005 Posted 30 June 2005 Yep, good luck to him. He's an honest pro who's tried his best, is good in the air but not a great defender overall. I won't be sad to see him go if we can get a decent fee for him but he'll do alright at Hull. Good move to let him go as long as we can get a good solid defender coming into the club at the same time.
Shum Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 Good luck to the lad, I think it makes good business sense if we get anywhere near 100k for him. Good luck sticks!
alf Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 Was on holiday with Sticks in Malia last year, real top lad! Martin Reeves is a proper knob though, giving it the "do you know who I am" to all the chicks!!! Hope it works out for him if/when he goes. Always thought he was a half tidy defende but he just lacks a bit of pace. <_<
Fox in a Box Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 Players come and go, If hes off Id say thanks for the goals the were important during our vital promotion push a couple of years back. 100K at this moment in time is good business if hes not a first teamer. Paddy looks more suited to CL style. Cheer matt **PS SLAP PETER TAYLOR on the head and say 'look see what you did'
Cat Burger Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 Heath is not a bad player but we should let him go. I actually don't mind him in the team, I don't watch him as often as some of you lot though so I'll take your word that he's poor.
Durnerz Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 A good prospect in the Promotion season but was quickly exposed for his lack of pace and positional sense. Also got bullied very easily by small strikers (Kenny Miller and the like) Can't wait to see him against Connolly when we play them, cheers for the money Taylor Also thanks for the goals Matt.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 1 July 2005 Posted 1 July 2005 Just like to add to the two of you that said what a nice bloke he is. He is one of the only players at the club that talks to the fans and actually seems interested in how they are. He appreciates that he gets paid good money to be a footballer too. Top bloke who is happy to have a laugh with the fans which is an unusual thing these days. Hull's a good move for him and I wish him luck for the future.
