Browsing and found this thread by accident! I'm a huge fan of the show, having crammed in 5 whole series from beginning of August to end of September last year, just to be ready for the first part of series 6, that started in October! I'm not a telly watcher really, unless its football, but this has me hooked! Already fed up that it finishes tonight.

He's only 12 so work not an option hes plastered from tips to elbow,,trauma team will ring me monday when they've looked at his xrays and decide if they have everything in the right place,,if not..... His football season is over, thats right cheesed him off. Painkillers working after about an hour and wearing off just as fast. Hopefully tonight he (and me!) will manage to get a bit of sleep and things will look better tomorrow!

I dunno if day covers it but my week has been horrendous! A close family friend passed away on Wednesday, very sad news. She will be evey sadly missed xx I then started to feel awful during the day and came down with a flu bug during the night that wiped me out on thursday,,,i felt a bit grog on friday and work told me to stay away for that day too! . I was due to go away for the weekend with a group of friends to a nice hotel for a birthday at about 4pm on friday, lots of plans for shopping and two nice nights out. About half one yesterday afternoon i got a call from my sons school to say he had fallen over at lunchtime and i might like to get him checked out. He's bruised his jaw,,put his tooth through his cheek and broken his left hand in four places, and also displaced two knuckles (ouch). He has done a bloody good job! Had had to have it manipulated back into place before he could be plastered and we were at A&E for over seven hours. He was in immense pain bless him. We got home very late last night and have had very little sleep. Didn't know what to do with himself with the pain and feeling sick. My mates are all having a ball,,,but i wouldn't be anywhere else but here. Maybe i'd be down the city but as i wasn't going to be here this weekend i'd lent my season ticket out!

Lovely day for being on holiday and soaking up the sun,,have sat in the garden all afternoon Went shopping this morning to try and get my lad some football boots,,came home empty handed as nothing was "right" grrrr I'm off out on the town tonight and quite looking forward to it! x

Busy busy busy,,,i'll be glad to get back to work for a rest! After the mammoth task of painting my fences,,,i jetwashed my patio's and drive today,,,first time ive ever used a jetwash and i didn't realise the mess it would make!!,,,, so that led to cleaning the kitchen windows and the conservatory too washed,,ironed,,painted a door,,,bathed tortoises (as you do) went to zumba,,and then collapsed to watch the barca game. Bit firey!

Forget i asked where she was going,,,ive just opened the exact same letter for my son!!

ha ha,,felt guilty as went for early lunch as was nearly still there for me tea! still...booked the same for next week weather permitting!!

Well...what a gorgeous day..after wasting yesterday sat in the sunshine in the beer garden of the Quorndon Fox,,,.i finallly finished painting my garden fences (El Empty..,you'd be so proud!), persevered with the brush and it must say it looks good! Tortoises been a pain in the bum today eating all my plants and trying to dig everywhere

i know what you mean. Though I don't have balls, my back is killing! It does look nice and I'm only half way round,,,,determined to finish it tomorrow though. I'm doing it with a brush so its taking forever..maybe i should invest in one of those sprayer things for next time!
