whats new? a fair few pundits had us slated for relegation last year, too. i know we were bottom for quite a chunk of time, but look how we managed to turn things around. eventually we were safe by some distance really. the squad is basically the same, minus cambiasso, who of course is a big loss. but we have also added some good players, perhaps with one or two more to still come. i think, i hope, the experience of last year will stand us in good stead and bode well for the coming season, and beyond. i don't mind being the underdog again, so i really couldn't give a toss what these so called 'expert' pundits think!

utterly pathetic and embarrassing! cobb, always good for a shot or two but 9/10 times he gifts his wicket. in fairness today, he was out to a worldy catch, but still there was no need to play that shot. i think he'd hit a boundary a few balls earlier? brain dead. in fact, i think every single batsmen so far today has got himself out with a poor shot, as opposed to being gotten out. so embarrassing. and i agree on the players, why isn't thakor playing yet some nobody like thornely is? how whitticase is still in a job i'll never know. rant over!

seems to be legit, they've activated his release clause by all accounts. bayern are quality as it is, add in gotze and pep as manager and i for one can't wait to see how good they are next season!

watched that a few weeks back. quite liked it. agree on emma watson, something about her though. i sort of really dislike her but i'd also do unspeakable things to her! it's a dilemma.

it's only 02:20am, but my days started badly/funnily! i've been trying to speak to this company in perth since last wednesday, in relation to a skype interview i had a few weeks back. every time i've tried the person i need to speak to hasn't been around. i've been waking up early, at around 6am my time, to try and catch her to no avail. tonight i've stayed up late as i haven't got work tomorrow, rang a couple of times and it rang out. just checked and it's a national holiday (labour day) in western australia today. bloody typical!

i've just watched a documentary called undefeated. really, really good. it's about american football, but it's a great story and really inspiring. any sports fan will enjoy it i think. highly recommended!
