basically what RIc said, its pretty clear some players dont want to be here, and the squad we'll have going in will be decent but other clubs are strengthening we've only got 1 striker atm, and thats daka

if this is going to be announced, put money on it either late tuesday evening or Wednesday some time pure fact the Foxes trust survey results will be out and the club will try and deflect, like they did last season with the vardy announcement

Right so the results of this are out Tuesday then. so what are the odds the club announce the new manager either 10pm tuesday or sometime wednesday next week do try and deflect, kinda like with the vardy leaving annoucment

youre right for the most part, Martin was always sounding out a few options and the smart money was always on him going Rangers, as frankly thats a better fit for him and his CV, trophies, europe etc some fans didnt mind Cooper, RVN and Smith, the latter was always going to be a stop gap Puel was a mostly no no from all, but when you look back at it, he actually did a decent job and probably brought in(with the old HoR, i cant remember his name, one after Walsh) the best players we've had since Walsh/Pearson era the club seems to be wanting to go for younger managers, well linked with them anyway before they go in a panic and appoint dinos, like they was look at Corberan last summer, was interest(he was too) but they got cold feet cos of the release clause the club needs to have a succession plan in place, plain and simple, it isnt even a hard thing to do, but they make every single thing seem like a challenge

plus going Rangers means he'll have a chance of more trophies on the CV, European football and potentially bigger teams looking at him it was always the smart move for any manager over us atm
