  1. its never going to end well if Rudkin and Dyche are friends means we'll be in another Rodgers situation, where IF he does come, and has a woeful run etc, he wont get sacked for at least 6 months before he should have
  2. which is why he isnt suited for us im sure everyone will be over the moon when BDR and Ayew start over Fatawu/Monga/Mav *if he comes
  3. youth a chance
  4. tbf theyve played pretty well though, look decent on the counter this second half
  5. and yet some of our fans keep mentioning his time at Burnley, where he got them relegated twice and even when we played his Burnley sides i honestly dont think they was that good either then with all due respect like didnt we beat his Burnley side with 10 men at Turf Moor ffs
  6. thing is you can have both styles, and the way the club sets up from youth level in playing possession based football and being comfortable on the football would be out the window
  7. thats a massive assumption, pretty sure Luton fans thought theyd be in and around the play offs too
  8. this is the internet and the woke age dont take about such things as frankly youll offend
  9. we did.....Corberan, he was interested in the position(i think) but the club didnt want to pay the 3/4mil release clause, yet we spunked over £27mil on Skipp and Ayew and Corberan has gone Valencia now and did a decent job in his 4/5 months there so far
  10. not but you said "not the right fit for us" yet Rohl is a better fit than most mentioned he wouldnt be one component standing out against all the others, that would be someone like Rodgers who would you suggest?
  11. so dyche is then?
  12. and this is why the club is in such a mess, such a scattergun approach, appointing Dyche would be a total polor opposite to who weve been going for previous in terms of managers and players; im pretty sure the clubs youth teams have been playing a certain way too, the more possession based way etc, so appointing someone like Dyche as you said when we've been going for a certain type just feels incredibly odd but then again clubs a mess and top doesnt give a ****
  13. we did see flair from Mav and Fatawu that season tbf(i cant remember when since this season has totally fried my head). they wont mindlessly crossing the ball in all the time like we have seen with Dyche's teams
  14. thing is with that article is doesnt say a thing we didnt already know either, it says Dyche is a strong favourite Martin was at one point im not reading too much into things atm, all we know is RVN is going and the club have a massive lack of direction if they go for Dyche going from one style of manager to another then another this club is nothing but a benny hill theme tune at this point
  15. if it is Dyche then frankly we wont be seeing much flare from the like of Mav or Fatawu and i doubt the likes of Evans, Aluko and even Monga get much of a look in
  16. pretty much are if you cant get your head around what people are putting in the thread about him but then again I guess we should plump for Dyche who has been shown up by Moyes at Everton doing wonders with the same set of players Dyche had
  17. all the other clubs went for other managers, and maybe they felt he wasnt the right fit for them atm, given hes still inexperienced in managerial terms were Boro after him? i dont think they was, they was sounding out a few candidates at the time and plumbed for Edwards
  18. incredibly naive view this without actually looking deeper at things involving all the clubs and people mentioned and people have mentioned what hed bring numerous times within this thread etc
  19. surely theyve got to be close now, its happened a couple of times before now too
  20. we arent the mighty leiceter for nothing
  21. rumoured to be £2.5mil for championship sides, 5mil for premier league sides that isnt very expensive since we paid £5mil on Ayew and 20 odd mil on Skipp
  22. yeah you just know Dyche will have Ayew and BDR in the starting 11
  23. Rohl, Wellens, Challinor someone who can adapt, not dinosaur Dyche as I said, we'll be getting the OAPs in the team if he comes, he rarely gives youth within clubs a chance I just dont understand why people would want Dyche given the types of players we have in the squad atm, we are basically going back to square one all over again
  24. transformation huh, making it sound like he brought the club back from the depth, for which HE didnt, in recent times the club has had a cash injection from the americans also change the club......like really, thats a laugh saying that as frankly he couldnt change anything here, and he didnt at Everton either Appointing Dyche is basically like us appointing cooper over again, after Enzo, Rodgers, Puel, but then again seems to be people of a certain age who want dyche and dont see the whole picture just the man if thats the case, lets appoint Roy Hodgson instead jesus
