There was probably an NDA in his contract preventing him from revealing too much information.
Becky Vardy seems less reluctant to throw the club under the bus.
But he has no contract now and there’s no pay off agreement either.
Bottom line is you are always careful to slag off people in the business. Well I know I am in my job because at some point you might need them

Thanks for responding.
Based on how we see the club being run I doubt anyone in the room with you feels confident enough to take that info to Rudkin, Top or anyone else “in power” without fear of repercussions for themselves.
If the media put more pressure on it might help but the local media are too concerned with maintaining access to hold them accountable.
Whether it’s communicated through the club or not, you’d expect the media coverage to alert Rudkin. People like Henry Winter are really supportive of trusts, so will always share that discontent to a wider audience as well

How often is too often? A couple of nights when they are away for 3 months, maybe more and as far as we know this could be the first time they've been out in ages. Importantly after a match has finished, 10 days before the next one. Not like they are going between days 2 and 3 like 80s
Problem is not the going out, its that they can't avoid trouble when they do. Whether that's because they are dickheads or whether they can't handle any negative attention they receive.
Ultimately though, they can avoid any issues by being smarter, and the captain should be setting the example. Don't begrudge them a few drinks after a win, but needs to some sort of self control. If you need to take security out with you, it's probably not worth it.
They had been drinking all day in a pub. that’s fine
Stupid to go into a nightclub after that.

Lord knows I’m no fan of Martin, but I’m curious to know where this idea that he will relegate us to League Two has come from given that he improved all three EFL clubs he managed and got one of them promoted. There are good reasons not to want him, but the prospect of a third successive relegation isn’t one of them. That won’t happen.
Swansea finished higher before him.
Swansea were in the playoffs under Cooper and they fell to 15th and then 10th
MK Dons is moot because they were promoted before him

Every year we look unfit and unprepared as the season goes on. We all wonder why.

How did you all get Leicester XIs?! I regularly get shite like mid 10s Hull/Watford/West Brom...
You don't. You just have to hope that the draft gives you ex-Leicester players. Took me about 20 go's.
My team was
Begovic, Davies, Keown, Toure, Johansson, Impey, Kishishev, Johnson (Man City), Wilcox, Cadamarteri, Cresswell.

In terms of childhood memories, the opener really stretched back the memories to 2010. I remember booking half a day off work for the opening game. Having to leg it to the car from 12 finish to make sure I was home for 12.30. I attempted a short cut to the car park and climbed over a fence which ripped my trousers at the thigh point. Anyway I was in my car and off I went to watch the game with my brother trying to blow the vuvezuela Mum had to buy about 8 bottles of Coca-Cola to get.
The South Korea game as well and its scheduling really mirror 1994 when they were the second game in the early hours.

I finally managed to build a Leicester team last night but I needed Kolo Toure at CB. Strikeforce of Richard Cresswell and Danny Cadamateri.
Finished bottom

I guess this chap’s education didn’t extend to him bothering to find out that Martin has never taken a team out of League One.
He also uses the plural teams.

He’s with SMI, I wouldn’t consider them small to be honest
Their client list doesn’t have a full international.

Compared to Wasserman and Unique Sports Group, they are a lot smaller

Did his job then?
Granted we’ve got Top and Rudkin but look at our squad start of the season, look at our expenditure.
Yet we blasted our way to the bottom, money is needed but it’s not the only essential ingredient for promotion.
I don’t want Russel, I’ve made that abundantly clear, but the hypocrisy of fans running away with themselves sometimes is baffling (not you personally)
“don’t like him so his promotion season was a nothing achievement”
whilst then arguing in the pub the championship is the hardest league in world football to be promoted out of
couldn’t make it up
Just about managed it and then created one of the worst PL sides in existence with 1 win in 16

Interestingly Martin is not one of the major agencies

You can’t be serious??
Everyone, literally everyone always say how bloody difficult getting out that damn Championship is to the promise land, wether automatically or through play offs, yet because you don’t like Martin your just going too by pass that achievement? And claim it as nothing?? Give over
Don’t like his style of play fair enough, done terrible everywhere else he’s been fair enough, thrown players under tanks and don’t like his persona bla bla bla yeh that’s fine, that can all be said.
Don’t discredit a factual decent achievement though just because you don’t like him.
Let’s hope he gets the support he needs on the rebuild from the new SD, and that atleast it’s going too be started earlier than expected if he’s to be confirmed this week.
Finishing 4th with a club who were in the top three favourites for the division with the healthy help of parachute payments - it's not outlandish statement in regards his promotion with Southampton. It wasn't particularly impressive similarly would apply to any manager winning League 1 with Leicester City this season.

Probablybit also flipping that view point, if for example Martin wins us the League One title or gets us promoted let’s say (regardless to how fanciful that is), will those currently disgusted at this appointment be cheering and clapping Martins name at the end of the season, I bet they will be
#fickle springs to mind
I wanted Challinor by the way, I guess we just see how this goes is all we can do
It’s the minimum I’d expect of any manager we appoint next/this season.
We should be outright favourites by some distance.

He’s the new Mercury correspondent. He’s definitely treading carefully in what he says. He will get full access as a club yes man.
The official MSM output will be carefully managed by the club, to talk positively about the club only.
The club don’t listen or care about anything outside the positive feedback loop inside that boardroom.
I get that a club can’t base their strategy around the whims of what we moan about on here. But I don’t get the logic of getting RM with the insistence of the style of play, we know won’t work and will be so boring. Fine don’t listen to your fans, we will talk with our feet and boo and make it toxic if this doesn’t get off to a great start. Then the tools are back to square one, again.
Every fan wants hope going into a season. The feeling of a new beginning. They simply don’t get that. Going for the same style on a bloke universally considered a bit of joke in football, let alone our fanbase.
Go with a bloke going upwards who doesn’t talk in shite corporate football talk. Just give us something to get behind.

Here's a a concern I have....will many away pitches be good enough to play passing football? I would say no.
Passing for passing sake will not get us out of this league. A manager that thinks hes better than he is, that plays a brand of football that is boring, that relies on teams coming at us so we can open them up. It isn't made for League 1 one bit.
Stupid appointment if true
It will suit our opposition to the ground. They have 11 behind the ball. Wait for the mistake and exploit on the counter attack.
This gamble shows no acknowledgement of the serious work the squad needs doing. We have no senior right back, we are short in midfield, we have no striker. Alongside the various players that aren’t capable of this style. Aiyawatt probably listening to players again about passing style

Stating how long you've been a fan for doesn't make your opinion more valid. If anything it makes it weirder that you're seemingly happy to see your lifelong interest go down the pan.
If anything they’d be well positioned to remember Shipman Out / O’Neill out and remember the eventual legacy of those moments

Well tbf the players have stunk the place out alongside disgraceful behaviour off the pitch. That’s not me being abusive either. They’ve been a disgrace to the term professional. We were relegated largely because the club had points deducted due to the owners irresponsible financial management. Pure fact
Going to that O’Neill event this week and listening to him talk about the moment the fans were calling for his head and protesting. But basically agreeing that the performances and results were worthy of criticism.
It makes you realise how bloody snowflakes this whole precious thing about protests and this squad is. No grit, no desire, no energy. Just down tools rather than prove people wrong. MON’s team settled down, he described how Steve Walsh won a game single handed and Garry Parker became a massive part in it.
Remember of course when Pearson started the ascent, Drinkwater cupped his ears towards the Leicester support in defiance and they really did work together to create something special.
Anyone that’s been a fan of 30 plus years would do well to remember the O’Neill protest/comeback and the Shipman out shouts to which the players still stayed up when all looked down.
Trying to pin a relegation on a section of fans protesting is so off with history, while at the same the ‘majority’ did nothing to try and elevate the atmosphere

Just get the obsession done with. They have had talks with him about the job three separate times. McCarron might as well not been appointed
Worst / Best Outcome - he lasts six months, king power’s decision making further under scrunity, and the exit plans start to play out
Best / Worst Outcome - we get promoted, but by November we are 22nd in the league and the club is more attractive for a manager and an owner
Just get it over and done with

He’s also suggested we can recoup £83milluon from our squad.
Even if you say that includes BEK at £25m, that’s some bold estimation.
