  1. Robinson was in Russia last week as well
  2. Which in essence completely sums them up. The primary reason for that take up is the ticketing rules which mean people want to protect their position / younger generation getting their first chance at a season ticket in a long time. They never actually want to get behind the ‘data’
  3. The club could start by acknowledging the situation rather more realistically. That statement by them today doesn’t even acknowledge the situation with the squad, the division, financial pressures etc. The relationship with the fans will only rebuild if they actually begin to be less pretentious
  4. Thats inevitable. A cardboard cut out should get us up next season. It was always an appointment about a proper rebuild with some sustainability. We will have a shocking August which includes at least one team getting three or four against us, then it will settle down and we will do well until March. Then everyone starts to work out the tactics and just counter attacks on us. Hopefully the gap is too much like Cardiff this season. Go into next season with no feeling of togetherness or anything
  5. By the way the statement makes no acknowledgment of the clubs situation or position. They really aren’t football people. They really can’t grasp the whole feeling amongst the fanbase. It has that Iraqi army general meme vibe
  6. The language used in that statement shows you far removed they are from what a City fan wants at the moment. Rudkin describing him as a strong leader While McCarron’s quotes are absolute word salad of the highest order
  7. No logical place to put this but anyone got a good curry house recommendation for Nottingham ? Post test match next week
  8. If people ask what manager do I want. First and foremost I wanted a manager who talks direct and honestly. Who doesn't use language like project, or phases or any other pretentious terminology. I wanted to a manager who is his own man - who doesn't feel the need to waffle about 2016 but equally doesn't feel the need to copy a template taught on UEFA coaching badges. Someone who is happy enough to admit the stark journey in front of us and acknowledges why the fans are unhappy. Who wants primarily high tempo, front foot football where most passes are forwards. I want hope. I want someone to believe in. Someone on an upward curve looking to progress in his career with us or through the success of us being good. They've gone for the exact opposite of all that. While doing it again with significant financial cost and not really dealing with the larger problem of squad management/toxicity. Picking a bloke who has soon as he loses a game is going to get total pelters and judging from his time at Rangers, he will double down on everything increasing the toxicity. That they can't analyse that time at Rangers which has some remarkable similarities to our situation and go yeah this ain't the role for him, shows the lack of footballing intelligence and that the two recent appointments of Davies/McCarron are a waste of time.
  9. Apparently Fletcher is now considered a joke in the US as he spent the recent game in Dallas referring to the Cowboys Stadium as 'Jerry Land' when actually the locals refer to it as'Jerry World'.
  10. But their form also dropped off a cliff second half of the season ala Enzo at Leicester. For me, if you are going to make such an appointment anything other than champions is sackable. I’d also expect top half in the championship next season. This is no sustainable appointment
  11. Plenty of others outside of the division on the same basis. Lincoln, Chesterfield, Tamworth immediately spring to mind
  12. Alongside them points made here, it’s such an easy win for fans to do a couple of different grounds each pre season.
  13. He’s also suggested we can recoup £83milluon from our squad. Even if you say that includes BEK at £25m, that’s some bold estimation.
  14. But he has no contract now and there’s no pay off agreement either. Bottom line is you are always careful to slag off people in the business. Well I know I am in my job because at some point you might need them
  15. Whether it’s communicated through the club or not, you’d expect the media coverage to alert Rudkin. People like Henry Winter are really supportive of trusts, so will always share that discontent to a wider audience as well
  16. They had been drinking all day in a pub. that’s fine Stupid to go into a nightclub after that.
  17. Swansea finished higher before him. Swansea were in the playoffs under Cooper and they fell to 15th and then 10th MK Dons is moot because they were promoted before him
  18. Every year we look unfit and unprepared as the season goes on. We all wonder why.
  19. You don't. You just have to hope that the draft gives you ex-Leicester players. Took me about 20 go's. My team was Begovic, Davies, Keown, Toure, Johansson, Impey, Kishishev, Johnson (Man City), Wilcox, Cadamarteri, Cresswell.
  20. In terms of childhood memories, the opener really stretched back the memories to 2010. I remember booking half a day off work for the opening game. Having to leg it to the car from 12 finish to make sure I was home for 12.30. I attempted a short cut to the car park and climbed over a fence which ripped my trousers at the thigh point. Anyway I was in my car and off I went to watch the game with my brother trying to blow the vuvezuela Mum had to buy about 8 bottles of Coca-Cola to get. The South Korea game as well and its scheduling really mirror 1994 when they were the second game in the early hours.
  21. Major 98 vibes - Brazil v Morocco first decent game at the WC on Saturday night
  22. I finally managed to build a Leicester team last night but I needed Kolo Toure at CB. Strikeforce of Richard Cresswell and Danny Cadamateri. Finished bottom
  23. Serie A fixtures out very early this weekend
  24. He also uses the plural teams.
