you only have to look at the posts mate, fan base was torn. We stuck with him because we were grinding out results, but he squandered a huge lead due to his idea of what football has to be. We won the league which was great, but genuine I didn’t find last season that enjoyable. Pissing around at the back, slowing everything down and allowing the opposition to get back, to then be unable to break them down. It was dreadful. And we limped over the line and into the automatic spots because of Vardy and his meeting, also the players going against the managers instructions and scoring goals on the counter. I couldn’t be happier that he’s gone.

No denying that Puel was hard to watch. But the players he bought in where mostly excellent. Ricardo, Evans, Madison, Soyuncu, Youri.
He started the transition. Sure the football was shit. But my point is that he built the foundation.
BR last 18 months do not get rid of the fa cup win and 5th places finishes. That's just a crazy comment. Yes he's hated. He's a dick. But my point is that he was successful until the last season. You can't judge a manager on how it ended, but what happened the whole time.
Should we disregard the title winning because of Claudios second season?

The foundations set by Puel, including some of the best players we've had for years and started the transition to away from the title winning tactics.
Rodgers won the FA cup and two 5th places. That's incredible. He was shit for the final 18 Months and should have gone sooner...but let's not rewrite history.
Enzo just got us promoted. Exactly what was asked if him.

Cody wasn't just signed for playing. He was signed as one of the outputs from the "season review" was that we needed more leaders in the squad.
Incidentally, I've heard very good things about him in this regard.

Not sure why Blackburn would consider selling him for so little amount of money. If they can persuade the player to stay they'll be better keeping.

Sensi hardly playing this season, long injury record and never played in the prem make him a huge risk. ( Could pay off but who knows...)
Mcatee has hardly set the world alight this season. We need a number 8 to contribute goals and assists. Don't see that from him.
