That's just the norm for him. Totally inept business man, totally inept football club owner. He is the Thai Donald Trump, born into money, done fook all to make any of his own. Pisses it about on horses and 'parties'.

I do feel sorry for him to a certain degree. His Dad died suddenly and he had to deal with a massive business. As well as deal with that shock.

What I struggle with is why he hasn't just put someone in charge of the club to help him.

We could literally put him on Gardening Leave, go about our business like normal then officially dismiss him come 30th June.

Somethings going on with Top, gone off to play Polo whilst both clubs are in need of him to make critical decisions. It's odd things like that which confirm my thoughts that it's time for him to go, absolutely shambolic!

I agree. The lack of a message to the fans after relegation, the lack of confirmation on Rudds position, the lack of holding people to account for poor performance ( Rudkin, Whelan). The seemingly complete lack of interest.

It's a joke right now. The engagement from the fans is zero while the inner circle of the club seems to think there aren't any problems....

    Absolutely none of this matters.

It isn't going to be Martin, no matter how much the doomsayers that cling to our club want it to be.

What makes you say that? Do you think it's agent talk?

I think we’ve relied on big clubs cast offs far too often instead of realising that when those clubs have anyone with even championship level of ability… they don’t release them. Why? Because they are big enough to demand stupid fees even when the players aren’t good enough.

When was the last time a top 6 club released someone 19 or above that actually ended up making a career? There must be some but certainly no stand outs that I know of.

I think it’s the wrong approach. Richard’s, vontae-Daley and this guy have all been very underwhelming.

We’ve tried that way and it’s simply not worked. These clubs know what they’re doing and the lads sticking around instead of them (clearly deemed better) will still have a low percentage make a career in the game, so the cast offs really won’t. I’m all for someone correcting me if I’m wrong here though with some examples

My recollection was that Arsenal enquired about Youri in '21 or '22 but we pretty much priced him out of a move and neither they nor any other club actually came in with a formal bid. Could be wrong, but I seem to remember something along those lines.

Wasn't that the summer after the FA cup where we decided to break the model and not sell a player.

Youri was at his peak in terms of value at that point due to the FA cup final goal. We should have sold.

I’m going to stick my neck on the line here and say its actually very hard to level much blame at RvNs feet. Yes he hasn’t made the best tactical decisions at times but this isn’t his team really? He was brought in on the back of 2/3 years of incredibly bad transfer strategy. Theres only so much you can do when the club has hamstrung its finances by offering huge deals to Vestergaard and Coady as well as all of the other muck.

If anything he’s now best placed to say where its gone wrong and where to improve, if we have a bad summer then a poor start to the season then get rid but as far as it stands we have bigger issues than the manager.

Honestly, complete rubbish. Don't give this absolutely shit manager an out.

He has done nothing to suggest he's is even close to being good enough. The results speak for themselves.

What other club anywhere, ever would keep a manager who has had such bad results.

He's continually played the same team and formation with it obviously not working. He's failed to address key gaps in our defence and attack. He's failed to install an style of play in the team. He's continued with the likes of Justin, Kristianson and Soumere. He put Daka ( Daka!) in midfield. He's continued to play Vardy when he was crying out for a rest.

The list of total f-ups goes on.

He may not be responsible for the terrible signings in the summer. But he's definitely responsible for our form since being appointed.

I was a graduate for a large machinery manufacturer in the early 00s.

I sent something to Mexico, instead of the US by mistake on a RORO boat. But that alone cost us about £20k.

That in itself sound “that bad” but it was worth around £3m lol

I couldn’t then get it re-exported, so I had to sort road transport from Mexico to Texas which came at another expensive cost.

This took weeks and the customer was telling me he was losing 1000’s $$$$’s per day.

All in all, all was forgotten as I was a good egg and generally the only person able to use a PC, as I changed everything to excel / email, to stop the reliance on a bloody fax machine!!!

Well that just won't catch on. Fax machines will be around forever.
