Maybe he was lied to about how much funds were available this month...
Any evidence that this happened?

If managers look after recruitment....as per the summer. Maybe its RvN fault we're not signing anyone?

So if they go up they don’t want him?

Oxlade Chamberlain is exactly the type of injury prone, expensive, past it signing that we've been complaining about and taken us away from our buy young/low sell high strategy.

Evan Ferguson signing would be vile
. We need to be signing players on the up like Hermansen, El Khannous, Fatawu etc, not another Edouard.
Ferguson is definitely not another Edouard.

But but...what about our Zamba following?!
-
Anywhere to watch it?
-
He's not an important player for us and just needs to go.
That said, with our lack of midfield bite I would play him. But we won't so...
-
Like it. The type of signing we should be looking at. Best young players from clubs.

We are fecking useless even when presented on a plate for us to move on deadwood we drag our heals 😩
This is club released rumour to try and force our hand....
Would you perfer we just roll over and let teams have our players for nothing? Or deals that are not good for us?

Sell both. **** it we're down anyway. Might as well get rid of the rubbish
-
He's prone to errors and dives in too much. He's also our best CB on the ball and probably out fastest ( although that's more of an indication of how slow the others are )
I would sell him, but also don't have the hate that everyone seems to have for him.

No I mean Faes lowers the game of people around him, especially at this level. Okoli would be fine with an experienced CB next to him imo and would develop into a solid prem level player.
I'm not sure about that. Faes is a massively experienced CB. A full international that's played at the highest level for years.
I've not seen anything from Okoli to suggest he's going to be a solid premiership player.
I would get rid of all our center backs given the chance and start again. They are all the problem not the solution.
Coady; too slow and old
Vestergaard; too slow and old.
Okoli; not good enough IMO.
Faes; ( actually my favourite center back) But just not solid enough and prone to errors.

Okoli lost his place because he had to play next to Faes the clown. If he was partnered next to someone decent I think he'd be solid for us for a good few years.
Such a bizarre transfer but what do you expect from life under King Power.
Okoli is shit because Faes is shit?
We need someone that raises everyone else's game. Not needing it to be raised.

How stupid is Rudkin? He actually finds new ways to show his incompetence. Rather than trying to get a good deal for him now, he thinks it’s a good idea to inform the player and his agent that he can go for half price in the summer!!!! That literally guarantees that the interested clubs are told to wait it out and get a deal.
dumb dumb dumb
No way has this came from the club. It's all agent talk as he wants to move.

The PL do not want to charge a PL club and then suffer an appeal and hearing and potential cancellation of the charge with everyone knowing about it.
I wonder if they will contact us to discuss our defence etc on the understanding that it’s all kept out of the public domain? On the basis that neither club nor the PL want their dirty washing aired for the media etc to make headlines etc out of it. There may be stuff going on but we may not hear about it.Wed be pretty stupid to tell them what our defense would be outside of a official hearing.

Reads as agent talk to me.

It's not that simple. Cole Palmer is one of the best players in the world and didn't get enough of a go at Man City. Tony Pulis preferred Alex Pritchard to Sergen Gnabry etc
You've picked out two examples there. There are thousands of examples where if you are good enough you are in the team.
-
If Alves was good enough he'd be in the team. It's not a question of age or anything else. It comes down to him being good enough.
By that I mean, tactically aware and physically strong enough. When I've seen him, he looks technically very good. But little appreciation of positioning and space.

Sad thing is Amartey walks into this team.

Shows he's miles away from the first team if he can't get in the Dundee team

There is not a center back at the club that I would be sad to see leaving.
None of them are good enough.
-
Just don't think the squad would fit Moyes style of play.
We're just not good enough at the back to try and keep clean sheets every game.

Some on here need to get a grip. Not everything is Rudkin or the clubs fault.
Transfer are difficult and just because they don't happen doesn't mean it's all in Rudkin.
This is a case in point.
