Just don't get how a punishment can be decided and dished out based on something that might happen. How did they decide to put us under a transfer ban when selling players and manager comp meant no breach of rules. 

Get a buy back in there or a % of sale. That's what all the cool kids are doing.

I didn't say we wouldn't do it. I said it wouldn't be the priority. If they are good enough then great. 

I think the FFP rules will push us into using youth a lot more, with the idea of selling. 

This year has to have a balance through. Staying up is the priority, not player development. 

Why has he signed for someone else?

I honestly thought you'd misspelt the title of this thread and it was supposed to say "salemakers" and it was another player leaving type thread

Over the last two summers our wage bill must have halved. We've had a lot of deadwood leave and money come in from transfers.

That's a lot of one night mate. 

I was surprised by him last season. I thought he really took his opportunities well. His injury knocked him back a bit.

Not sure he's ever going to be quite PL standard, but he works hard, has a bit of talent and knows where the goal is. 

Potentially a squad player next season. But more likely a loan to a championship club.

We could afford it. It was FFP and the fact is was a stupid deal that stopped us.

Really agree with this - the guy has done nothing but seems to have a fantastic agent that gets him moves and publicity
